What is the book about?

When a pair of inexperienced space travelers from a far away water world discover a sinister plot to destroy all planets in the universe with life, they have no choice but to save the universe. But they can't do it alone. Along the way, they enlist the help of two unsuspecting scientists, each from very different worlds, to join them in their mission. In order to succeed, this quartet of diverse creatures must learn to accept one another, decide how to save the universe, and not get killed in the process. You'd think that last part would be the most difficult, but you don't know this group very well. Yes...!
